Danny Michael Tribute

This episode is a tribute to DMV comedian Danny Michael. Tragically Danny passed away this summer, taken from his family, and all of us who were touched by his dynamism, far too soon. See link to the Danny Michael Scholarship Fund below. 

On Make Me Laugh, Danny voiced the character Chainsaw, reeling off jokes and takes spontaneously. 

On the local scene, Danny was ascending fast. Danny was destined for something much bigger than local showcases and headlining. 

In this episode, we run a collection of Danny’s bits, just a fragment of the material he’d created in a few short years. 

Danny Michael was much more than a standup. He was a mentor, coach, historian, editor, writer, husband, stepfather, friend, owner of a near-photographic memory. 

Pete Z and the MML crew salute Danny, and wish his family well during this difficult time. 

MML fans, you may not have heard the last from the Michael family on MML. Only time will tell.
